FSSC renamed 'The Financial Skills Partnership'
During February and March 2011, the Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) has been introducing its new name 'the Financial Skills Partnership to all professional bodies, trade associations, industry stakeholders, awarding bodies, schools, colleges, training and learning providers. This will be accompanied by a phased launch of their new Partnership Programme also during Spring 2011.
The name change describes the strong partnership ethos and culture of the sector skills council for finance, accountancy and financial services and also more accurately reflects the whole sector that the FSP represents. The FSP is also the voice of employers in your sector and plays an important role in lobbying government, influencing the skills agenda and ensuring that your needs are firmly voiced within the heart of Whitehall and policy making.
The FSP covers the areas of Finance & Accountancy and also Financial Services. These are split into the following sub-sectors: accountancy and finance; banking and building societies; financial planning; insurance; wealth, investment management and pensions.
